Boba and Sushi - the Secret to Being a Woman

Boba Tea and Sushi. It's a fact, no ladies day is complete without these two necessities.

Early on in my childhood, I learned the importance of “the girls' day”. Contrary to what the boys think, this is not a time for us girls to get together and gossip about boyfriends or the latest fashion trends (that is an everyday occurrence).

It's time of collaboration and strategy. I can bring a problem to the group, and everyone will chime in with their bit of revelation, Scripture or vision to help me figure out a solution. These meetings require a food and beverage that are both as elegant as us and hardy enough to withstand our constant back and forth discussions.

As such sushi and boba milk tea are our go-to. You'll often find the ladies of #NextGenProphets gathered together at a nail salon, the spa or taking turns hosting each other in our homes with a boba tea being swung about.

It's our culture as women to gather and work through a problem. We're so aware of our faults we are often the first to run to the cross to deal with them, it's what makes us the amazing mothers, wives, and prophets we are today. We're constantly evolving to become better.

However, the enemy despises what happens when we come together. He has attacked our feminine culture, and turned a beautiful opportunity to bring change into a brawl of feminine insecurity. As women we battle with feelings of constant inadequacy.

We ask ourselves, “Am I woman enough? Am I mom enough?” And we think, “If I cannot even take care of my own home, how can I take care of the body of Christ?”

However, this was not God’s design and on March 25, we invite you to join the ladies of #NextGenProphets as we strike back at this attack on our feminine identity.

Apostle Colette Toach will be hosting an international girls' day, and she is inviting all of her spiritual daughters to join her, this means you too. Come collaborate with fellow kingdom woman. Identify where the enemy has attacked your femininity and activate your fivefold calling.
