Expose the Con Man Stealing Your Godly Financial Blessing
I am here today, to tell you your lack of finances and favor in the marketplace is not God's will for you. It is a ploy of the enemy to withhold your gift from the church! By the end of this blog, you will have everything you need to get your financial breakthrough.
Life was never boring… being born to two powerful prophets will do that to you. At two years old, my parents packed me and my younger sister up and flew us to Mexico. This was where I got my first taste of full-time ministry. For a while, I did not question why we did not have electricity for a few days or weeks. I never got tired of eating instant noodles or bread and drinking that terrible Lipton Tea with breakfast every day.
Why? Because for every other full-time minister or missionary that was normal! However, there was one conversation I had with my parents that changed that perspective. I finally realized something wasn't right, and I asked them why we had the financial issues we did, and if that was just how it was supposed to be.
My father looked at me and said, "Deborah, no part of this is normal or God's plan. This is spiritual warfare because the devil does not want to see the Kingdom of God prosper. It is time to do warfare!"
Not long after that, we indeed got a breakthrough in our finances, but that moment changed the way I saw ministry and how finances work towards building the Kingdom of God. From that day forward, I did not sit back when the finances dried up or an unexpected bill came to steal God's blessing. I picked up my sword and did warfare.
Lack is never from God. This is a fact that God has put in writing. Look throughout the Word and you will see many promises from the Father that say He will meet every need, that before you have even asked He has answered, and so many more. So, why do we think that when it comes to full-time ministry and doing the work of God, it would be any different?
Well, in John 10 and Luke 12, Jesus describes a thief who comes to steal away the sheep and the life He intended for you. This thief is a con man, a master of his craft and he has been conning believers out of their inheritance for millennia. He does this by bringing you investments that have great potential or tasks that are very easy to do. Then, slowly, but surely, he adds other stipulations to that investment and more tasks until one day you look up overwhelmed and realize that you invested in a toxic waste dump site, instead of that tropical island in the Bahamas!

That being said, here are those steps I told you about to help you get that financial breakthrough:
An attack on your finances is often hard to notice because it shows up in a lot of areas. We are not just talking about a literal theft of finances, but the enemy will use unexpected bills or genuine problems to "con" you out of those few extra dollars in your wallet.
Look back over the past 6months to a year, and list any major unexpected bills or financial hiccups that have occurred.
In what area of your life did most of them happen? Was it regarding your health? Was your car not working and needed to go to the mechanic a lot? Were there fixes around the house/building that were needed? etc.
By identifying where the enemy is attacking, you can take two easy steps to overcome the con:
Step 01, Faith: Time to activate your faith by looking at all the needs you have and bringing them to the Lord daily. Stand on Scripture and ask the Lord for wisdom, or help to fix the problem.
Step 02, Works: Make a list of all the problems that need fixing in priority order (with their expenses) and put it in a place you will see on a daily basis. Then every day, make a step to fixing each problem in priority order. Such as putting a few dollars aside every day for that bill, or fixing one broken part of your home each day.
